Have you been feeling attacked mentally, emotionally, or physically lately? Has the enemy been trying to take your peace of mind? Remember, the Word of God says we don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but it's a spiritual war (Ephesians 6:12).
We are spiritual beings. When you decided to follow Jesus, you chose the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness is now in opposition to you. In order to win the war, you must know what your weapons are.
Here are 3 Spiritual Warfare Weapons to Win the Spiritual War:
1. The Word of God
"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)
The Word of God is alive! It's powerful! It's able to pierce any ungodly spirit that's attacking your mind or soul. Speak and proclaim the Word of God over your life and any contrary spirits will flee. God has peace and a sound mind in store for you.
2. The Name of Jesus
There is power in the name of Jesus! There is no name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
"In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover" (Mark 16:17-18).
It's in the name of Jesus the miracles and powers of God are put on display. You won't see the glory of God manifest in any other name. Only Jesus. Even the demons are subject to the name of Jesus (Luke 10:17).
3. The Blood of Jesus
"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death" (Revelation 12:11).
It's by the blood of Jesus that we overcome the devil. Similar to the name of Jesus, there is power in the blood of Jesus. Jesus gave His blood on the cross for us then said, "It is finished!" (John 19:30).
Closing Remarks
Know that you know three weapons in this spiritual warfare, use them! Don't simply put up your shield of faith to quench the fiery darts of the wicked one, but use your sword. Fight the battle and win!
