The Bible says, "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise" (Proverbs 11:30).
He who wins souls is wise! But how do we win souls? Below are three key points on how to win souls for the Kingdom of God.
1. Humble Yourself
Wisdom and discernment into other peoples' lives must first come from humility within ourselves. The Bible says, "Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8).
2. Understand God's ways are higher than your ways
We must let go of our understanding and allow God to move when we speak to lost souls.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.”
(Isaiah 55:8-9)
3. Be able to discern good and evil
Studying God's Word will help us to discern good and evil and know the spirit of the soul we're ministering to.
"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
(Hebrews 4:12)
